1967: The Castiles take part in a battle of the bands at the Middletown Community Center.

1980: At Night Two in Richfield on the River Tour, Bruce and the E Street Band play “You Can Look (But You Better Not Touch)” for the very first time.

1984: Bruce makes a guest appearance with Cats on a Smooth Surface at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park for a cover-filled set, including “Lucille,” “Little Latin Lupe Lu,” and more.

1988: Bruce plays in Africa for the very first time at the Human Rights Now! show at Zimbabwe’s National Sports Stadium in Harare, before a largely white South African audience. Watch Bruce’s recollection of the show below.

2002: Bruce and the E Street Band close out the first leg of the Rising Tour at HSBC Arena in Buffalo, tour premiering “You Can Look (But You Better Not Touch),” “Tougher Than the Rest,” and “Lost in the Flood.”

2005: Bruce plays a stellar acoustic set at the Hartford Civic Center, opening with “Back in Your Arms” and “Wreck on the Highway” and tour premiering “Something in the Night” and “You Can Look (But You Better Not Touch).”

2006: Bruce’s tour of Italy continues as the Sessions Band arrives in Perugia and tour premieres “Factory” at Arena Santa Giuliana.

2016: Bruce is interviewed by The New Yorker editor David Remnick and reads from his book at Town Hall in New York City as part of The New Yorker Festival.

2017: Bruce tweaks his Springsteen on Broadway running order, swapping the positions of “Long Walk Home” and “The Rising.”

2020: E Street Radio airs Volume 13 of Bruce’s From My Home to Yours radio show, entitled “My Kingdom for a Car.”

Later that day, Bruce records a promotional interview for Letter to You with Zane Lowe. The interview will be aired on Apple Music later this month.
