1977: At the Record Plant in New York City, Bruce records “Because the Night,” “Outside Looking In,” and “Down by the River.” It will take more than 30 years for Bruce to release the first two; the last one still hasn’t been released to this day.

1985: The final stand of the marathon Born in the U.S.A. This show is available as part of Bruce’s official archive series–get it here.

At Miller Park in Milwaukee (one year to the day since his last show in that city), Bruce opens with “Candy’s Room,” plays a rare “Brilliant Disguise” and “Across the Border,” and by request: a Danny Federici spotlight on “Beer Barrel Polka.”
2004: Bruce and the E Street Band rehearse at Asbury Park’s Convention Hall for their upcoming Vote for Change Tour.
