New for 2024: Audio for 2009; video for 2012; new entry for 2023

1973: Bruce and his “strange but adept” band headline a show at Rutgers University.

1976: Bruce and the band cancel a scheduled show at Butler University when the school is unable to front the band’s appearance fee. Instead, they play a Chicken Scratch gig at Ohio University in Athens, where the venue takes some heavy damage as a result.

1988: Bruce and the band play the first of two shows at Nassau Coliseum, where a sneaky fan films the show from behind the stage.

2009: The Working on a Dream Tour kicks off at HP Pavilion in San Jose. “Good Eye” is performed for the only time on the tour and the last time to date.

2011: On opening night of the Major League Baseball season in Miami, Clarence plays the national anthem.

Meanwhile, Bruce joins Little Steven at the Underground Garage for part one of a three-part show. A fantastic listen, well worth the time investment.

2012: At the Verizon Center in Washington, DC, Bruce and the E Street Band play “The Promise” in a full-band arrangement for only the third time ever. “Adam Raised a Cain” and “Out in the Street” make their tour premieres tonight as well.

2023: Bruce tour debuts “Jungleland” at Madison Square Garden when the reprise of the River Tour makes a stop in New York City. Paul McCartney is in attendance tonight.
