New for 2024: Audio for 2021

1974: Bruce stops by KLOL-FM in Houston in the afternoon for an interview with DJ Ed Beauchamp.

That evening, Bruce and the (still unnamed) E Street Band play two shows at Liberty Hall.

1975: The first of two nights at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC.

1982: In a Los Angeles recording studio, Bruce gives his song “Protection” to Donna Summer and provides backing vocals and guitar on the track, while Roy plays piano.

1988: The Tunnel of Love Express Tour stops in Philadelphia for the first of two nights.

1997: Bruce plays with The Wallflowers at Tradewinds in Sea Bright, New Jersey. Fan footage of his arrival at sound check plus full show audio (including Bruce’s only known cover of “Brand New Cadillac“) below.

1999: Bruce and the E Street Band rehearse for their upcoming Reunion Tour at Asbury Park’s Convention Hall.

2008: Bruce drops by a benefit for the Ranney School at the Eagle Oaks Country Club in Farmingdale, New Jersey and plays “Glory Days” with Tim McLoone and the Shirleys. (photo credit: backstreets.com)

2018: Springsteen on Broadway continues its theatrical run at the Walter Kerr Theater in New York City.

2021: Bruce and President Obama release the fourth episode of their podcast series, Renegades: Born in the U.S.A. This episode is entitled “Born to Run: The Loss of Innocence,” in which Bruce and Barack talk about travelling across America and finding home.

2022: At the Fire Department Building in his hometown of Freehold, Bruce appears at a community event announcing the development of My Hometown: The Bruce Springsteen Story Center, slated to open in that space in 2024.
