1970:  Steel Mill plays the College of Marin during their California sojourn.

1973:  Bruce and the band continue their Boston residency with two shows at Paul’s Mall.

1985: Bruce releases Arthur Baker’s 12-inch “Freedom Mix” of “Born in the U.S.A.

That night, the Born in the U.S.A. Tour stops in Louisville at Freedom Hall.

1987: Bruce records “When You Need Me” at his home studio in Rumson.

1996: Bruce debuts a new song, “Sell It and They Will Come,” at the first of two nights at the Fox Theater in Detroit. Suffice it to say it’s not among the deeper songs in Bruce’s catalog. Check out the world premiere of this still unreleased song below. Bruce tour premieres “No Surrender” tonight as well.

2014: Days before the release of High Hopes, Bruce calls into E Street Radio for a lengthy interview. Listen to the entire conversation below.

2017: Bob Santelli interviews Bruce on stage at Monmouth University.

2018: Springsteen on Broadway continues its theatrical run at the Walter Kerr Theater in New York City. In attendance tonight: Jon Bon Jovi.

2023: Bruce and the E Street Band rehearse for their upcoming world tour at The Vogel in Red Bank, New Jersey. First-hand reports from fans listening at the stage door confirm the return of “If I Was The Priest” after more than 50 years, although it will receive only three outings on the tour proper.
