New for 2023: Audio for 1996
1971: The Bruce Springsteen Band is in residence at the Student Prince in Asbury Park.
1975: “Meeting Across the River” makes its debut when the Born to Run Tour stops at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
1976: The Lawsuit Tour kicks off at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, with a new Miami Horns Quartet along for the ride. Check out the horn-accompanied arrangement of an early “Something in the Night” below, along with the first-ever “Backstreets” interlude.
1978: Boston DJ Mark Parenteau interviews Bruce by telephone for WBCN-FM.
1980: Bruce and the boys rehearse for the upcoming River Tour at Clair Brothers Audio in Lititz, Pennsylvania, and the rehearsals are captured on video.

1985: The scheduled opener for the Born in the U.S.A. Tour’s final stand becomes the closing show instead when Bruce postpones this Los Angeles show to make room for a previous rescheduled show in Denver.
1991: Bruce joins Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes at The Stone Pony, where the show is filmed for a promotional Having a Party With Southside Johnny video release to support Southside’s Better Days album. 1996: At his solo acoustic show at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Bruce reprises his newest song, “In Michigan” and plays “Plane Wreck at Los Gatos (Deportee)” for the first time in fifteen years.
1997: Bruce plays “Mustang Sally” and “Lucille” with Bobby Bandiera at Cheers in Long Branch.
2018: After a three-week break, Springsteen on Broadway resumes its theatrical run at the Walter Kerr Theater in New York City.
