New for 2023: No updates

1971: The Bruce Springsteen Band headlines two shows at D’Scene in South Amboy, New Jersey.

1973: Bruce and his band headline two shows at Max’s Kansas City in New York, with The Wailers opening for them.

1975: It’s Night Two on the Born to Run Tour, and the band continues developing the show at the Geneva Theater in Geneva, New York, where “She’s the One” makes its tour debut. At soundcheck, Bruce and the band cover “Needles and Pins” and “You Really Got Me.”

1976: CBS Records holds their annual sales convention in Los Angeles, where Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes open. Bruce guest-stars with Southside on “The Fever” and “I Don’t Want to Go Home.”

1988: Fresh off of his history-making East Berlin show, Bruce crosses the border to West Berlin and plays one show at Waldbühne.

1989: Bruce joins Peter Hartung & The Remakes on stage at McLoone’s Rum Runner in Sea Bright, New Jersey.

1995: Bruce makes a surprise appearance at Tradewinds in Sea Bright with Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers for an American Babylon-heavy set, with a few Springsteen originals added for good measure. Stevie and Max join for four songs as well.

2002: Bruce and the E Street Band rehearse for the upcoming Rising Tour at the Expo Theater in Fort Monmouth.

2011: Bruce takes a stroll along the Jersey shore, stops and borrows a guitar, and plays “Born to Run.”

2012: On the one year anniversary of the Norway attacks, Bruce and Steve play “We Shall Overcome” at the memorial concert for the victims in Oslo.

2013: Director Baillie Walsh and producer Ridley Scott release Springsteen & I, a documentary about the relationship between Bruce and his fans. The film airs in more than 2,000 theaters in over fifty countries.
