No matter how many times I hear this, I can’t help cracking up at…. well, you’ll know it when you hear it.

I don’t know who RuinedMusic2000 is, but I do know they’ve got some serious and seamless mash-up talent and a clever sense of humor. Who would have thought “Born to Run” would layer so perfectly on top of A-ha’s “Take On Me?”

But wait, there’s more: As great a song as it is, it’s the video that makes “Take on Me” a classic. RuinedMusic2000 took a crack at mashing that up too, and the result does not disappoint.

“Born to Take” is just one of dozens of creative RuinedMusic2000 mash-ups. Check out more of them here.

  1. Yes I saw this right away too. To my knowledge he has never actually played left handed on stage..Bizarre! The sequence is definitely from the official “Born to Run” video from the 80s – everything the same except he’s playing left handed. what gives?
