From the film Ricki and the Flash, Meryl Streep performs “My Love Will Not Let You Down,” and commits to it pretty hard. Ironically, that’s Rick Springfield on lead guitar.

I didn’t like the movie. I felt like the Meryl Streep character was a little too flaky but I loved this version of the song.
I dug the movie; thought it was a fun summer popcorn flick. I agree that the Ricki character was flaky, but the cast was great, so I had a hard time hating any of the characters. I think my jaw hit the floor when the band broke into this song–I had no idea that was coming.
