From the 1995 opening concert for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: Chuck Berry backed by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
“Johnny B. Goode,” of course, is one of the most recognizable songs in rock and roll. Chuck Berry’s original version from 1958 peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100, but it went on to be covered by scores of artists and ranks seventh in Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
