Because I want to see how you\u2019re gonna pull that one off.\u201d Steve\u2019s going, \u201cI can\u2019t imagine it.\u201d I go okay, I\u2019m not going to be able to sing it where they sang it, so I have to think about Marvin Gaye\u00a0on\u00a0<em>What\u2019s <\/em><em>Going <\/em><em>On<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Trouble Man<\/em>\u00a0and I\u2019m thinking of blaxploitation pictures. I had to find my voice in it. I got the lyrics up on the computer and just started to sing it. When it sounded believable to me I knew we\u2019d be fine. It&#8217;s no wonder that Bruce released the performance as an official video on his YouTube channel.<\/p>\n<p>As for the original songwriters, Barry Gibb had this to say on Twitter after witnessing the performance: &#8220;Dear Bruce @springsteen, just been blown away by your Stayin Alive. You brought it back to life. Thank you!&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-x\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Dear Bruce <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/springsteen?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@springsteen<\/a>,  just been blown away by your Stayin Alive.
