So feel free to bookmark this for your repeat listening pleasure.)<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230; yeah, this is basically just a short guy\/tall girl song, and I&#8217;m\u00a0<em>pretty<\/em> sure the horseback riding is euphemistic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>I got a girl so tall and fair<\/em><br \/>\n<em>I need a stepladder to run my fingers through her hair<\/em><br \/>\n<em>I&#8217;m gonna kill the next guy who asks &#8220;how&#8217;s the weather up there?&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Early on a Saturday night<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>She takes me on her riding horse<\/em><br \/>\n<em>I love the sound of her voice when she says &#8220;I love you so&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Take me on your riding horse<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Come on baby, let&#8217;s giddy-up and go<\/em><\/p>\n<p>See what I mean? And lest anyone accuse Bruce of subtlety, he erases that notion in the next verse:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>Now Mister, I ain&#8217;t no hot-lovin&#8217; clown<\/em><br \/>\n<em>There ain&#8217;t a man on the planet could cover all that ground<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Late at night she kisses me so sweet<\/em><br \/>\n<em>But I need a map to find my way from her lips to her feet<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yup, the chorus is a euphemism all right.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>Baby take me on your riding horse<\/em><br \/>\n<em>I love the sound of your voice when you says I love you so<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Take me on your riding horse<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Come on baby lets giddy-up and go<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>Take me for a pony ride<\/em><br \/>\n<em>I love your voice when you say &#8220;baby, it&#8217;s right&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For the life of me, I cannot fathom why Bruce left this off of <em>Nebraska<\/em>. Tight, polished lyrics, a great melody, and a relatively unplumbed theme.
