Known by a few names, “The Song” is an unreleased, unperformed but completely realized early songwriting exercise by Bruce.
“Atlantic City” ranks high among Bruce’s best songwriting accomplishments. Rooted deeply in time and place, it tells of the hope of resurrection that never quite pans out.
“If I Should Fall Behind” is an enduring favorite that continuously grows, changes, and evolves like the best and strongest of relationships.

“Two Hearts” is one of Bruce’s early songwriting masterpieces, and one that is best listened to acoustically than in its original arrangement.
“Bring on the Night” is one of the weaker outtakes on Tracks, but it offers insight into its descendant, “My Love Will Not Let You Down.”
“Lift Me Up” is a delicate, ethereal coda to Limbo, John Sayles’ brilliant film.
