1973: Bruce and his band finish a four-night, two-shows-nightly stand opening for Travis, Shook and The Club Wow at The Main Point in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
1985: Bruce and the E Street Band play the first of two shows at the Market Square Arena in Indianapolis.
1996: Bruce plays an acoustic set at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in Montreal.
2006: Bruce attends Jann Wenner’s 60th birthday party at Le Bernardin in New York City, and he performs a song he wrote for the occasion. “Jann’s Song” will never surface, but it reportedly includes the lyrics, “I never guessed a man whose magazine once changed my life / Would one day want to have a threesome with my wife!”
2021: On Apple Music’s Beyond the Influence Radio show, host Tim McGraw interviews Bruce about his latest album, Letter to You.
2023: The first of a series of scholarly symposiums is convened at Monmouth University to celebrate the golden anniversary of Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J. Panelists include Mike Appel, Vini Lopez, Garry Tallent, David Sancious, and more.
2024: Bruce and Patti attend the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, where he is nominated for (but doesn’t win) the Best Original Song, Motion Picture award for “Addicted to Romance.”
