New for 2024: Review for 1975; video for 2020
1973: “Bruce Springsteen and his studio band” headline at Sandy’s in Beverly, Massachusetts.
1975: Bruce and the E Street Band bring the Born to Run Tour to Seneca College in Toronto.
1985: Born in the U.S.A. passes Michael Jackson’s Thriller to take the #2 spot for longest-run on the Billboard Top 10. Lasting for an amazing 79 weeks, it still won’t come close to the number one champion: the soundtrack to The Sound of Music.
1998: Bruce holds his annual Christmas party at McLoone’s Rum Runner in Sea Bright, where he joins Bobby Bandiera’s band for “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”
2017: Springsteen on Broadway continues its theatrical run at the Walter Kerr Theater in New York City.
2020: Bruce performs a gorgeous acoustic version of “Letter to You” (its first live performance, albeit virtual) as part of the Stand With Teachers virtual fundraising event.
