1969: Steel Mill headlines at the Free University in Richmond.
1971: The Bruce Springsteen Band is in residence at the Student Prince in Asbury Park.
1978: Bruce and the E Street Band bring the Darkness Tour to the University of Illinois at Champaign.
1980: Bruce makes his first appearance at the Rosemont Horizon, where the crowd sings “Hungry Heart” to him for the very first time, and “I Wanna Marry You” gets a unique and funny introduction.
1987: Bruce joins Bobby Bandiera on stage at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park for three songs: “Little Latin Lupe Lu,” “Stand by Me,” and “Carol.”
1993: Bruce makes a special Thanksgiving appearance on Saturday Night Live to debut a new song.

1996: Bruce plays a solo acoustic show at the Louisville Palace in Kentucky.
1998: Bruce sits down for a remarkable 50-minute television interview with Charlie Rose and performs an acoustic “Born in the U.S.A.” Both are must-watch.
2002: In town a day early for their show in Orlando, Bruce and the band have dinner at the Hard Rock cafe after Steve gets in a round of golf.
2007: The day after an emotional show spotlighting Danny Federici, Bruce confirms what fans already feared: Danny is taking a leave of absence to receive treatment for melanoma. “Danny is one of the pillars of our sound,” Bruce writes. “We all eagerly await his healthy and speedy return.”
2009: Bruce and the E Street Band play their penultimate Working on a Dream show at 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, where they perform the entire Born to Run album in sequence and switch up the sign collection song, playing “Green Onions” for the very first time.
2019: Bruce gathers the E Street Band at his home studio in Colts Neck for the third day of a five-day recording session that will yield Letter to You.
2023: Bruce’s scheduled show in Montreal is postponed to the following Halloween due to his peptic ulcer disease. Instead, Bruce releases the last episode (as of this writing) of From My Home to Yours on Sirius XM. This episode is entitled “California Sun.”
