2002: A scheduled Rising Tour show in Columbus is postponed to December due to Clarence’s detached retina.

2005: After the return of “Drive All Night” after almost a quarter-century the night before, how can Philly Night Two match Night One? With “Santa Ana,” played for the first time in 32 years, and “Thundercrack” for the first time (other than holiday shows) in 31 years. Oh, and the tour premiere of “Used Cars” and a rare “Independence Day.” A pretty amazing two-night stand from the Devils & Dust Tour.

2011: Once again, Bruce makes an appearance at Stand Up for Heroes in its 5th annual edition. Tonight, Bruce performs “Open All Night,” “Long Tall Sally,” and “Spirit in the Night” with the Max Weinberg Big Band (Mindi Abair joins Bruce for “Spirit”), and Bruce plays a solo acoustic “Land of Hope and Dreams” as well. As has become a tradition, Bruce auctions off a guitar (plus his shirt and harmonica) for $160,000.
