New for 2024: Audio for 1975; new entry for 2023

1971: The Bruce Springsteen Band is in residence at the Student Prince in Asbury Park.

1975: Bruce and the E Street Band kick off a week of Texas shows with a show at the Austin Municipal Auditorium.

1978: The Darkness Tour returns to the east coast, starting with this show in Syracuse, where a couple of fans sneak back into the arena after the show and encounter Bruce in the shower.

1984: Bruce and the band play their second of six shows at the Philadelphia Spectrum on the Born in the U.S.A. Tour, tour premiering “Point Blank.”

2007: Bruce and the E Street Band rehearse for their upcoming Magic Tour at Asbury Park’s Convention Hall.

2009: The Working on a Dream Tour starts a southern swing with a show at the Ford Amphitheater in Tampa, with two notable tour premieres: the very first E Street Band performance of “All or Nothin’ At All” and “Jole Blon” (last played by the E Street Band 28 years prior).

2013: The South American leg of the Wrecking Ball Tour kicks off at Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile, Bruce’s first performance in this country. The encores begin with a Spanish-language cover of “Manifesto” by activist Victor Jara, sung by Bruce in Spanish.

2019: Western Stars debuts at the Toronto International Film Festival, and co-directors Bruce Springsteen and Thom Zimny are there for the festivities. Bruce and Thom are interviewed on stage and take Q&A after the screening.

2023: Bruce issues a video plea for support for the Community Hospital Endowment Fund for the Kenyan city of Lwala.

Bruce was originally scheduled to play the first of two shows in Pittsburgh on this date as well, but peptic ulcer disease forces him to postpone the shows for almost a year.
