1967: The Castiles play at a YMCA pool party at Camp Arrowhead, in Marlboro, New Jersey.
1971: The Bruce Springsteen Band plays an IPO party (really) in Rumson for the Marine International Corporation.
1974: Bruce and the E Street Band open for the late, great Dr. John at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.
1975: Bruce and the E Street Band play Kutztown State College on the Born to Run Tour.
1982: Bruce joins Cats on a Smooth Surface on stage at The Stone Pony for eight songs, including “Come On, Let’s Go,” “Lucille,” “Around and Around,” and “Long Tall Sally.” Listen to Bruce’s full set below.
1985: Born in the U.S.A. is certified as 3x platinum in the U.K.
1988: Bruce plays a Tunnel of Love show in Copenhagen, where Link Wray guest-stars on “Glory Days.”
1990: Bruce and Patti welcome their first son, Evan James, into the world.
1992: On Night Two (of eleven!) at Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford on World Tour 1992, Bruce tour premieres “Open All Night” and “Ninety-nine and a Half (Won’t Do).” He also plays “Real Man” for the last time to date. 2002: Soozie Tyrell joins the E Street Band as an unofficial member at a warm-up show at Convention Hall in Asbury Park. She’ll be with the band ever after. Nine songs from The Rising are played for the first time with the band tonight.
2018: Springsteen on Broadway continues its theatrical run at the Walter Kerr Theater in New York City. In attendance tonight: Jesse Malin and Glen Hansard.
2023: Bruce and the E Street Band end their European tour at the Autodromo in Monza, Italy.
