1974: Bruce headlines two shows at the Bottom Line in New York City. By this time, recording sessions are underway for Born to Run, and Bruce has been writing prolifically. These shows feature work-in-progress versions of “Jungleland” and “Born to Run” and are fascinating to listen to.

1981: Bruce and the E Street Band kick off a five-night stand at The Spectrum in Philadelphia.

1984: Bruce and the band play their second of two nights in East Troy, Wisconsin.

1992: Bruce and his new band wrap up the European leg of World Tour 1992 with a fifth and final show at Wembley Arena. “Prove It All Night” makes its tour debut, and “Born in the U.S.A.” is dropped from the set list for the first time since its debut in 1984.

1993: Patti Scialfa releases her first solo album, Rumble Doll, along with “Lucky Girl,” the lead-off single and video. Listen to Patti’s promotional radio interview and performance below.

2005: Bruce brings his Devils & Dust acoustic tour back to North America, kicking off with a show at Corel Center in Ottawa. Bruce plays a fairly standard set, but a lightning strike-induced power outage at the end of “Reno” provides some unplanned excitement.

2013: Bruce and the E Street Band headline the TW Classic Festival in Werchter, Belgium. Ben Harper makes a guest appearance on “Atlantic City,” and Bruce tour premieres “Jailhouse Rock.” “Man’s Job” and “Follow That Dream” also make rare appearances.

2016: Bruce surprises and delights Paris fans by opening with “Iceman” (only its third-ever performance) and “Lucky Town” before announcing and performing The River in full, a first-time event in Europe.

2018: George Theiss, Bruce’s Castiles bandmate and co-writer, passes away at the age of 68. Meanwhile, in New York City, Springsteen on Broadway continues its theatrical run at the Walter Kerr Theater.

2021: Springsteen on Broadway continues its limited return engagement at the St. James Theater in New York City.

2023: Bruce and the E Street Band play their second of two shows at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen. This show is available to stream or purchase here.
