1973: Bruce and the E Street Band headline two shows at The Main Point in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
1978: One day after their legendary Roxy show, Bruce and the boys take the Darkness Tour to the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, where several songs are filmed and released as promotional clips (and later included in the Darkness on the Edge of Town 30th anniversary box set). Bruce’s official video for “Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)” is from this show. “Raise Your Hand” is filmed but not released, but you can watch it below.
1981: Bruce and the E Street Band play their fifth of six nights at the Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, as the River Tour continues. Two songs–“Two Hearts” and “Candy’s Room“–will be released on Live 1975-85. Before the show, Bruce soundchecks his original song “All I Need,” which he would eventually donate to Gary U.S. Bonds for his On the Line album.
1984: The Born in the U.S.A. Tour treks across Ohio for the first of two nights in Richfield.
1985: Barely a year after its release, Born in the U.S.A. is certified 7x multi-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
1992: The Recording Industry Association of America certifies Live 1975-85 as 12x multi-platinum.
2008: At Magic Night Two in Oslo, Bruce tour premieres “If I Should Fall Behind” (in its only tour appearance) and plays a rare “From Small Things (Big Things One Day Come).”
2009: Bruce brings the Working on a Dream Tour to MCH Arena Herning when the tour makes a brief stop in Denmark.
2021: Springsteen on Broadway continues its limited return engagement at the St. James Theater in New York City.
2023: Katy Perry, John Kerry, Chelsea Handler, Orlando Bloom, Judd Apatow, Emma Thompson, Rami Malek, and Tim Robbins are among the star-studded crowd when Bruce and the E Street Band take the stage in Hyde Park for their second of two shows. This show is available to stream or purchase here.
