1976: Bruce and the E Street Band play for the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
1978: At Night Two in Philadelphia on the Darkness Tour, the core of the set finally gels, as fans hear the first consecutive plays of “The Promised Land,” “Prove It All Night,” “Racing in the Street,” “Thunder Road,” and “Jungleland.” This core five-pack will last throughout the rest of the tour.
1979: Bruce joins Robert Gordon on stage for “Fire” at the Paramount Theater in Asbury Park. Garry joins them for “Heartbreak Hotel” as well.
1981: At the Brighton Center on the River Tour, Bruce and the E Street Band perform “The Price You Pay” for the last time for 28 years.
1985: Bruce and the E Street Band (plus Little Steven, director John Sayles and crew) take over Maxwell’s in Hoboken for the first of two days of filming for the video for “Glory Days.” Watch local news coverage below.
1999: Bruce and the E Street Band make a Reunion Tour stop at the Flanders Expo in Ghent, where Elliott Murphy guest-stars on “Hungry Heart” and “Born to Run.”
2000: Bruce plays his first-ever show in Las Vegas when the Reunion Tour stops at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Bruce opens and closes with the premiere of “Viva Las Vegas,” and he tour premieres “Can’t Help Falling in Love” for the occasion as well.
2001: Bruce and Graham Parker join Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes at The Stone Pony’s 25th anniversary celebration of Southside’s live radio broadcast.
2003: At Night Two at London’s Crystal Palace on the Rising Tour, Bruce opens with a solo acoustic “Born in the U.S.A.”
2005: Bruce brings his solo acoustic tour to London for the first of two nights at Royal Albert Hall.
2006: The American leg of the Seeger Sessions Tour begins with a show at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Peter Wolf guest-stars on a “Dirty Water” / “Buffalo Gals” medley.
2012: “Seven Nights to Rock” makes its Wrecking Ball Tour premiere when Bruce and the band stop in Cologne, Germany. For the first time since Darkness on the Edge of Town was released in 1978, no songs from that album are performed.
2016: Bruce and the E Street Band play the first of two River Tour (2016 edition) shows at Croke Park in Dublin. “Back in Your Arms” and “Lost in the Flood” both make their tour debuts.
2021: Bruce attends his niece’s graduation ceremony at the Ranney School in Tinton Falls.
2023: Bruce takes a tumble during “Ghosts” when he and the E Street Band play their second of two nights in Amsterdam on their 2023 World Tour.
