1974: A watershed moment for Bruce, when he plays two shows opening for Bonnie Raitt at the Harvard Square Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Not only is his band introduced as “The E Street Band” for the very first time at the early show, but Jon Landau attends the late show and is moved to write his famous “rock and roll future” review.
1975: A scheduled gig at Madison Square Garden is cancelled to make room for Born to Run recording sessions.
1976: Bruce and the E Street Band play the Municipal Auditorium Theater in Mobile, Alabama.
1984: “Dancing in the Dark,” the first single off Born in the U.S.A. is sent to radio stations. It will appear in record stores shortly and become Bruce’s greatest hit.
1985: The news is out: Bruce Springsteen is getting married to actress/model Julianne Phillips in Lake Oswego. When Juli’s parents confirm the news, the press runs with the story.
1988: The Tunnel of Love Express heads to Bloomington, Minnesota for the first of two nights. Eavesdrop on the soundcheck below, featuring Nils singing lead on a cover of “He Can’t Love You.”

1997: Bruce plays his first-ever show in Poland, the first of two nights at Sala Kongresowa in Warsaw.

2018: Springsteen on Broadway continues its theatrical run at the Walter Kerr Theater in New York City.
2023: Bruce and the E Street Band tour premiere “Something in the Night” at their final night of three at RDS Arena in Dublin.
