New for 2024: Audio for 1982
1971: Bruce jams with local musicians at an open mic night at The Upstage in Asbury Park.
1975: Bruce and the band co-headline with Richie Havens at Syria Mosque in Pittsburgh.
1977: Bruce and the band play Dane County Memorial Coliseum in Madison on the Lawsuit Tour.
1981: The River Tour finishes its Florida leg at the Hollywood Sportatorium. According to the local reviewer, the crowd is not on its best behavior.
1982: Bruce joins John Cafferty and Beaver Brown at Big Man’s West in Red Bank, New Jersey for “Ain’t That a Shame,” “Money (That’s What I Want)” and “You Can’t Sit Down.”
1984: Bruce records a new song, “Ida Rose (No One Knows).” It hasn’t surfaced as of this writing, but it was included on an unreleased 1993 prototype for Tracks.
1996: Bruce opens the San Remo Music Festival with an acoustic performance of “The Ghost of Tom Joad” on Italian TV.
2003: Bruce plays the second of two acoustic shows in Somerville, Massachusetts, a benefit for Doubletake Magazine.
2007: Bruce’s instrumental cover of “Once Upon a Time in the West,” is released on the tribute album We All Love Ennio Morricone. The gorgeous track will go on to win a Grammy Award.
