1972: The Bruce Springsteen Band headlines at Livingston College in Piscataway, New Jersey.
1973: Bruce and his unnamed band play at Seton Hall University.
1990: Sting assembles a band for a benefit show for the Rainforest Foundation. The band includes Bruce, Paul Simon, Don Henley, Bruce Hornsby, Herbie Hancock, Brandford Marsalis, Paulinho Da Costa, and Sting. The all-star band meets for a second day of rehearsals in Beverly Hills.
1997: During his fourth of five nights at Sydney’s Capitol Theater, Bruce plays “Freehold” outside of Freehold for the first time.
2002: Bruce joins Philadelphia band Marah in the studio to play lead guitar and provide background vocals on “Float Away.”
2007: Bruce wins two Grammy Awards: Best Traditional Folk Album (for We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions) and Best Long Form Music Video (for Wings for Wheels: The Making of Born to Run)
2014: The first night of two in Adelaide kicks off with a party-time cover of “Summertime Blues” and an audibled “Detroit Medley.” The show also features a rare outing of “Back in Your Arms.” Also tour premiering tonight: “My Love Will Not Let You Down,” “Human Touch,” “Mary’s Place,” and “If I Should Fall Behind.”
2017: The Summer 2017 Tour makes a stop at Hanging Rock in Macedon, Australia, opening with a solo acoustic “The Promised Land” and a full band “American Land.” “Blinded by the Light” makes its tour premiere tonight as well.
