1973: Bruce and his unnamed band kick off a four-night/eight-show stand at The Main Point in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, where “Santa Ana” receives its debut performance.
1974: Bruce and his (still unnamed) band open a three-night stand headlining at Joe’s Place in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It’s neither the first nor the last time Bruce’s name is misspelled in print.
1985: The Born in the U.S.A. Tour resumes with the first of two shows at the Hampton Roads Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia.
1994: Bruce and Patti make an appearance at the Hollywood premiere of Philadelphia. Bruce wrote “Streets of Philadelphia” for the movie, for which he will go on to earn an Oscar. Check out the news coverage from the event.
