New for 2023: Audio for 1978; review for 2007

1973: Bruce and the E Street Band play a gig at Nassau Community College in Garden City, New York. The show is filmed, and snippets of it have been aired at special events and in documentaries.

1978: Bruce and the band play their first of two nights at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco on the Darkness Tour, and it will go down in history as one of their best. Broadcast live on KSAN-FM and captured as a soundboard recording, this show will be prolifically bootlegged for decades to come. 1980: Bruce and the boys play their first of two River Tour nights at the Boston Garden.

1995: Bruce plays his first of two solo acoustic shows at the Orpheum Theater in Boston, where he plays every song from The Ghost of Tom Joad for the last time to date.

2001: Bruce makes a guest appearance with Tim McLoone’s Holiday Express at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford.

2007: Bruce and the E Street Band bring the Magic Tour to the Odyssey Arena in Belfast.

2012: Bruce joins The Rolling Stones on stage at the Prudential Center in Newark, joining Mick Jagger on vocals for “Tumbling Dice.”

2017: Springsteen on Broadway continues its theatrical run at the Walter Kerr Theater in New York City.

2018: Springsteen on Broadway closes its theatrical run at the Walter Kerr Theater in New York City. In attendance tonight: Oprah Winfrey. Shortly after the show ends, Netflix releases the show on streaming video.

2020: Bruce appears on a television special entitled Play On: Celebrating the Power of Music to Make Change, speaking in support of WhyHunger.
