New for 2023: Audio for 1998; new entry for 2006

1971: The Bruce Springsteen Band is in residence at the Student Prince in Asbury Park.

1972: Bruce and the as-yet-unnamed E Street Band play their last night of a six-night, two-shows-nightly stand at Kenny’s Castaways in New York City.

1975: Bruce and the E Street Band bring the Born to Run Tour to Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

1996: Bruce plays  a solo acoustic show at the Music Hall in Cincinnati.

1998: Bruce wins a £2 million court battle over a bootlegger’s ability to publish his early pre-Columbia songs. That evening, Bruce appears on stage in Paris at a benefit for Amnesty International. The show is a tenth anniversary reunion for the original Human Rights Now! Tour, and Bruce, Peter Gabriel, Tracy Chapman, and Youssou N’Dour (Sting is not present) reprise their ensemble performance of “Get Up, Stand Up.” Bruce also plays a brief set of his own.

2006: Bruce and Patti attend rockabilly legend Wanda Jackson’s concert at the Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park.

2007: The Magic Tour continues its Scandinavian leg, stopping at the Globe Arena in Stockholm for a night, where Clarence’s son Christopher joins the band for “Dancing in the Dark.”

2010: The Promise is certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.

2012: Bruce plays his first-ever show in Mexico, as the North American leg of the Wrecking Ball Tour comes to a close in Mexico City.

2020: Bruce and most of the E Street Band rehearse for their upcoming Saturday Night Live appearance at NBC’s Studio 8H in New York City.(Garry and Soozie do not attend; Jack Daley sits in for Garry on bass.)

While he’s in the neighborhood, Bruce zips over to Studio 6A, where he chats with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.

Finally, that evening Bruce appears on a television special to announce Time Magazine’s Person of the Year.
