1975: Bruce and the E Street Band usher in the holiday season with their first of two shows at Boston’s Music Hall. On the set list: Bruce’s very first performance of “Party Lights,” and the earliest captured performance of “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”
1977: Bruce joins Robert Gordon and Link Wray on stage at NYU for a cover of “Heartbreak Hotel.”
1980: Bruce and the E Street Band bring the original River Tour to the Rochester Community War Memorial.
1984: Bruce and the band make a Born in the U.S.A. Tour stop at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
1992: Dallas fans celebrate the arrival of the holiday season when Bruce closes his World Tour 1992 show at the Reunion Arena with the tour premiere of “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.” Reviewers are not impressed.
1996: Dion DiMucci guest stars on “If I Should Fall Behind” when Bruce plays his first of two solo acoustic shows at the Sunrise Musical Theater in Florida.
2002: “Where the Bands Are” makes its Rising Tour premiere at Philips Arena in Atlanta, and Brendan O’Brien joins Bruce and the Band for “Glory Days” and “Born to Run.”
2004: Bruce joins Joe Grushecky and The Houserockers for a special Flood Aid concert in Pittsburgh, benefiting local residents impacted by Hurricane Ivan. Bruce joins opening act Exit 105 for “All Along the Watchtower” before playing a brief acoustic set and finally joining Joe and the Band for their set. Jesse Malin makes a guest appearance on the show-closing “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”
2006: Bruce joins Marah and Joe Grushecky and The Houserockers at their Light of Day sets the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey.
2007: The Magic Tour continues its trek across Europe, as Bruce and the E Street Band arrive at the SAP Arena in Mannheim.
2016: Bruce continues his promotional book tour, stopping at 2nd & Charles in Kennesaw, Georgia to meet fans.
