1973: Bruce plays his first ever show in Washington, D.C. at Childe Harold. David Sancious (not yet a member of the E Street Band) sits in.
1974: Bruce and the E Street Band headline a show at the War Memorial Theater in Trenton.
1978: Night Two of the Darkness Tour (at Albany’s Palace Theater) is similar to Night One, but “The Promise” is now performed solo on the piano, as it will be until the next full-band performance 32 years later.
1985: Director John Sayles films background footage at Maxwell’s in Hoboken, New Jersey, for Bruce’s “Glory Days” video.
1993: Before leaving the U.K., Bruce sings karaoke (“Jumpin’ Jack Flash“) at the Stanhope Arms pub in London.
2003: At a rainy Rising show in Saint-Denis, France, Bruce plays an acoustic pre-show, opens with “Who’ll Stop the Rain” and tour debuts “Trapped,” “Be True,” and “Seven Nights to Rock.”
2005: The European leg of the Devils & Dust Tour begins with a show at Point Theater in Dublin.
2018: Springsteen on Broadway continues its theatrical run at the Walter Kerr Theater in New York City.
2022: Bruce announces the return of the E Street Band to the concert stage for their first tour after an unplanned six-year hiatus. On E Street Radio, Bruce gives fans and host Jim Rotolo an idea of what to expect.
