1970: Bruce meets Nils Lofgren for the first time at The Matrix in San Francisco, where both Steel Mill (Bruce’s band) and Grin (Nils’ band) are playing.

1972: Bruce plays a solo acoustic show at Freehold Township High School. The set list includes his never-released “No Need,” and “Cowboys of the Sea,” and “She’s a Woman.”

1974: Bruce cancels a show in Columbus following the firing of original E Street Band drummer Vini Lopez.

1977: Ronnie Spector and Flo and Eddie make guest appearances with Bruce and the E Street Band at the Richfield Coliseum. Together, they perform “Baby, I Love You,” “Walking in the Rain,” “Be My Baby,” and “Say Goodbye to Hollywood” (the last of which was recently recorded in the studio with the E Street Band).

1996: Bruce plays a solo acoustic show in Hamburg.

1997: Bruce wraps up his Australian solo acoustic tour with a third show in Melbourne (and has dinner at tiny restaurant France Soir).
