One of the greatest delights of writing this blog is discovering independent musicians with an appreciation for Bruce’s music, artists I would likely never encounter otherwise.
Every once in a while, I come across a cover from an unknown artist that makes me stop in my tracks. Whatever I had queued up next for the blog gets shoved back so I can call into the ether, listen to this.

I’m completely unfamiliar with Danny Gone, but his absolutely gorgeous cover of “If I Should Fall Behind” is better than any other I’ve encountered. It’s brand new (released just days ago as I write this), but it’s immediately cemented as one of my all-time favorite Springsteen covers.
