New for 2023: Audio for 1978

1966: The Castiles play the Surf ‘n’ See Club in Sea Bright, New Jersey.

1971: The Bruce Springsteen Band is in residence at the Student Prince in Asbury Park.

1975: Born to Run hits #1 on the charts; Bruce and the boys celebrate at their tour stop in Oklahoma City, their first-ever show in that state.

1978: Bruce and the E Street Band close out their three-night Darkness Tour stand at the Palladium in New York City, tour premiering “Meeting Across the River.”

1984: Bruce and the band play their fifth of six nights at the Philadelphia Spectrum. During the soundcheck, Bruce plays an original yet unreleased-to-this-day composition, “Beneath the Floodline.”

1988: The Human Rights Now! Tour stops at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium, where Bruce makes a guest-appearance during Sting’s set, duetting on “Every Breath You Take,” Bruce’s first performance of that song.

2003: On an off-day between shows in Hartford, Bruce and Patti take a private tour of the Mark Twain House.

2006: Bruce, Southside, Patti, and Bobby Bandiera and his band play a benefit at The Stone Pony for the Ranney School (which Bruce’s kids attended).
