X Ambassadors make absolutely no secret about their appreciation for Bruce’s music–they cite him as an influence on their music pretty frequently in interviews. Heck in 2016, they even said they’d have cut their show short in order to catch his encore when they learned he’d been playing just across the street from them in Brooklyn.
So it was probably inevitable that the guys would eventually cover one of Bruce’s songs.
That moment came last year, in March of 2018–and when they chose a song, they chose wisely, eschewing the hits and zeroing in on one of Bruce’s deepest and most atmospheric cuts.
