In 2015, the MusicCares MAP fund honored Pete Townshend, and Bruce was in attendance both to pay tribute and to join Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey on stage for “My Generation.”
Bruce has cited The Who as a major influence on several occasions, including this night in 2015 and in an entertaining and enlightening conversation with Steve Van Zandt on the Underground Garage in 2011:
